Calhoun County Ministerial Alliance is not just a monthly meeting of local clergy. We are very active in working together to make the love of Christ an incarnational reality in our communities.

CCMA is responsible for the local food pantry, Calhoun County Community Ministries, where local churches pool their resources to feed the hungry and provide emergency rent and utility assistance.

Members provide a weekly Guest Minister column for the Port Lavaca Wave and the Senior Standard.

We also lead a worship service each Sunday afternoon at Trinity Shores assisted living facility.

We provide an on-call chaplain for Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca available every hour of every day of the year.

We lead the local National Day of Prayer activities.

We sponsor a Summer Youth Program for two weeks each year.

We meet with local school officials to learn how to pray for the administrators, teachers and students in our communities.

Our churches come together twice a year for an ecumenical service, on Palm Sunday evening and the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving.
